Allergy Friendly Vegan Chocolate Chip Fudge

Hello again! Today I wanted to make chocolate chip and vanilla fudge, so we experimented, and it's soooooooooooooo lovely! You must try it!

Here are the ingredients:-

  • 1 Large allergy friendly chocolate bar, such as delicious Moo Free chocolate.
  • 150g Dairy free Vitalite (or other alternative butter spread)
  • 450ml Oat Milk (or other alternative milk)
  • 540g Caster or demerara sugar
  • 1.5 tsp Vanilla Extract

First you measure out your sugar, butter and milk into a medium saucepan and heat it on a high heat. Use a wooden spoon to stir for about 15 minutes whilst the mixture is bubbling. (You could let Mummy or Daddy do this because hot sugar is very dangerous.) Now you need  to heat it to 115 degrees Celsius. You can use a kitchen thermometer to check this.

The other way you can check if it is hot enough is to put it into a glass of water and watch it turn into a blob that sinks to the bottom of the glass. If it's not ready the water will change colour and you need to get some clean water to try again in a few minutes.

Turn off the heat and add the vanilla. Beat it with a whisk, then let it cool for five minutes.

While that happens bash the chocolate with a rolling pin to make some chocolate chips. Finally, pour the chocolate and fudge into a dish lined with baking paper leave on the side for an hour or more. If you can wait that long!

Then slice it into chunks and eat!

Bye Bye. Love from Princess E! X
