Easy Gluten Free Oat Cookies (Allergy Friendly, Vegan, Soya Free, Nut Free)
Hello again! I have been experimenting in the kitchen a lot, and I have at least twelve recipes to share. I have also been working on some posts about other allergy things...so keep tuning in as I am writing them all up over the next few days.
My sister, Princess M has made her first ever recipe! Mum helped her, but Princess M did all of the making herself. So this recipe is really on her behalf!
Here are the ingredients to make about 12-14 mini cookies. You could double the mixture to make more, or to make bigger cookies :
- 150g Gluten Free Oats
- 100g (one pot) Apple and Pear Puree
- 3 tsp Agave Syrup
- (optional extras could be raisins, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or allergy-friendly chocolate drops)
- First, mix it all in a big mixing bowl until it has a doughy texture
- Leave it to soak the liquid into the oats, for about fifteen minutes at room temperature.
- Next, roll the mixture into little balls.
- Place them on a baking tray that has been lined with greaseproof paper
- Gently pat the cookie balls into a flatter shape - but not too thin.
- Now, put into the oven for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown. The cookies will still be soft, but they will harden a little as they cool down.
- Finally, leave them to cool before eating them!
Hope you enjoy trying Princess M's first ever recipe!
Love from Princess E! x
