Epi-pen Reactions - Don't Be Scared To Use It!

I  wanted to write a post about how it feels to have a very, very bad reaction and to need your Epi-pens. Two weeks ago Daddy had to epi-pen me again and it really hurt. He had to do it because I had an anaphylactic reaction, which is very dangerous. When he Epi-penned me I was very scared but then they called an ambulance to come help me. Next I had to go to hospital and stay in overnight because they have to keep you there until you are safe again, and give you medicine and treatment to help you get better. It's alright to be scared but really it's helping you to get better, so all you have to do is be brave!

These are my Epi-pens and Piriton in their bag which is a Medpac. This keeps it all together and at a safe temperature.

Remember to use an Epi-pen if you think your child is having problems with their airway, breathing or consciousness, just like the allergy action plan from your hospital doctor!

Stay safe! From Princess E! X

Easiest Ever Vanilla Vegan Cupcakes (Dairy Free, Egg Free, Soya Free)

Hello again! Today I am going to show you how to make the best dairy free, soya free and egg free vanilla cupcakes. Here are the ingredients:

  • 225g of self raising flour
  • 2 tsps  of baking powder
  • 180g of caster sugar
  • 6 tbsps of vegetable oil ( we used olive oil )
  • 240 ml of water
  • 1 1/2 tsps of vanilla extract
  1. First you get a bowl and put the self raising flour, baking powder and caster sugar in it.
  2. Next stir and make a well in  the middle and put in the vegetable oil, water and vanilla extract into the well
  3. Finally mix well and share it between 12 muffin cases, in a tin.
  4. Cook them at 180 degrees in a fan oven for about 20 minutes, until they are golden brown. You can get your Mum or Dad to check that a knife comes out clean too.
  5. Use whatever topping you like best! I iced mine and added my favourite allergy friendly sprinkles. :-)

Please do remember to wait until the cupcakes have cooled properly, or they will crumble when you get them out of the cake tins. You can still eat them like that though - put the crumbles in a bowl with icing and sprinkles and eat with a spoon!
