Mocha cookies - by Princess E

Hello there again! Today I am going to show you how to make mocha cookies. They are ok for people who are dairy free, egg free, soya free, vegan, nut free, and can be gluten free if you use gluten free all purpose flour, and gluten free oats.

Here are the ingredients:-

  • 115g flour
  • 15g cocoa powder
  • Quarter of a teaspoon of baking  powder
  • 125g of brown sugar
  • 1tbsp coffee powder
  • 125g butter alternative, we use dairy free Vitalite
  • 50g porridge oats
Here is how you make them:-
  1. Sift the flour together with the baking powder and cocoa powder into a bowl.
  2. Add sugar to the bowl and mix well
  3. Put the coffee powder into a cup and stir in 1tbsp of boiling water. (I got daddy to do that bit for me as it is very hot!)
  4. Add the coffee mixture to the mixing bowl and stir well.
  5. Then add the Vitalite and the oats, to the mixture, and mix together into a dough.
  6. Next make the dough into 12 little balls and squash onto baking powder, on a tray.
  7. Finally, put into an oven to cook for about 15 minutes and afterwards just remember to EAT!
My next blog post is going to be very exiting. We're going to do some allergy experiments!
